1. How do I start a new project?
Easy! Just click button. The button is on your top right corner of your portfolio screen.
Then just name you production and save. That's it.
When creating orediting your project you can also select a hero image for your project, the currency you would like to use and perhaps some dashboard notes on the right of this popup.
2. What’s the difference between tasks and milestones?
In essence, tasks may span over time. A task has a start date and end date and is marked as a percentage completed.
You can group tasks and milestones within a parent task by simply dragging and dropping another task or milestone in to it. To keep thing from getting a little out of control you can have one level of grouping.
Were a milestone, is checkbox-like, with a single date that is assigned to it.
For simplicity and robustness only tasks can act as parents for grouping of tasks and milestones.
3. What are the different levels of access (Admin, Producer, Crew etc.)?
Admin accesses level has full read, edit and an absolute full complete admin accesses on this account.
Producer accesses level has full read, edit and complete admin accesses on this account with exception to account administration and billing.
Crew accesses level can read an edit exception to account administration, billing and budget. Crew members do not see any cost figures across the site.
Client accesses level has read only accesses. Client level does not see account administration, billing and budget, nor see any cost figures across the site.
4. How will I know when the cast and crew have seen the latest call sheet?
When you send out or your call sheet it will go out to all cast, crew, location contact and every colleague that has been assigned to the project.
Once sent, navigate to your audit screen were every sent round of call-sheets are recorded. Once sent the recipient will receive their own unique link to the call-sheet, once visited this will be logged on your call-sheet audit screen.
In essence you will see confirmed for every recipient of your call sheet once that recipient has viewed it.
Note some of your colleagues even though they are assigned to a project may have opted out of receiving this email. This is an option to all Edictive accounts and can be set from your account setting page. This does not apply to cast, crew and call-sheet location contact.
