The Travel Channel is putting more money into the unscripted or reality side of their programming schedule by giving the green light to three new series of half hour long shows starting with half a dozen episodes of each show.

The first of this new trio of shows is ‘Edge of America’ which will follow entertainment journalist Geoff Edgers as he investigates some of the more quirky and bizarre facets of American entertainment. The series will be produced by Magilla Productions and Patrick McManamee is attached as an executive producer.

Mikey Roe will be hosting the second new unscripted series , ‘Feed the Beast’, which shines a light on late night restaurants and after hours entertainment. Executive producer for the project is Daniel A Schwartz.

Completing the trio of new series is the ‘Kevin Michael Connolly Project’ which charts the progress of thrill seeking Kevin Michael Connolly as he heads off on a series of adrenaline fuelled escapades. The unique hook for the show is that Connolly was born without legs. The high octane series will be produced by Crazy Legs Production with David Gerber in the executive producer role.
