Spike TV have swung into action as they greenlight new series ‘Urban Tarzan’.

Spike is well known as a male demographic cable station and the show sounds right up their street! The channel have ordered 10 half hour long episodes of the series which will follow the reknowned extreme animal handler, John Brennan, in a number of dangerous situations as he rescues, captures and relocates dangerous, and often exotic animals.

Brennan is said to be excited to take on the new identity of ‘Urban Tarzan’ and says that he always relies on his finely tuned instincts when handling these animals. He places great importance on not only making sure that the animals are safe, but also that no members of the public are harmed.

Urban Tarzan is set to air this coming Spring and will be produced by Asylum Entertainment with Steve Michaels and Jonathan Koch executive producing.
