Singer Tilky Montgomery Jones has inked a deal to star in ABC country music drama ‘Nashville’ as a major recurring character. Jones looks set to play philanthropist and football player Sean Butler in the upcoming show.

The former ‘Take 5’ boy band member is no stranger to the small screen, with his previous credits including ‘Single Ladies’ on VH1 and ABC Family’s ‘Pretty Little Liars’. Jones will join fellow cast members Connie Britton (American Horror Story, Friday Night Lights) and Hayden Panettiere (Heroes, Remember The Titans) on Nashville, which debuts on ABC next Wednesday evening.

Nashville will follow a complex family drama set in the midst of Nashville’s Country Music scene and follows in the footsteps of other hit musical drams Glee and Smash by using music to enhance the story. The James family are the center of the show and are falling apart thanks to the stress of poor record sales and bad investments.
