Magnet Secure Kiss of the Damned RightsErotic vampire movie ‘Kiss of the Damned’ is set to premier as the closing film this Friday at the Venice Film Festival’s International Critics Week event after Magnet Releasing secured the world rights to the film.

The film stars relative newcomer Joesephine de La Baume alongside Milo Ventimiglia (perhaps best known for his role as Peter Petrelli TV series in ‘Heroes’) in a tale of the romance between an attractive vampire and the human screenwriter she cannot resist the temptation to fall in love with. The film also features the grandaughter of music and movie legend Elvis Presley, Riley Keough – a fact which has garnered additional interest in Xan Cassavetes’ film, which he has both written and directed.

The movie is a DeerJen/Verisimilitude production which was produced in partnership with Bersin Pictures and the deal for the world rights was negotiated on behalf of Magnet by Dori Begley and Peter Van Steemburg.
