Following its world premiere at TIFF, ICF Films have picked up domestic distribution rights in the US to ‘Inescapable’ from writer/director Ruba Nadda.

The film stars Alexander Siddig, Joshua Jackson and Marisa Tomei and tells the story of a Syrian expatriate returning to Damascus to find his missing daughter. The film sees Daniel Iron and Lance Samuels produce while Christine Vachon (Killer Films), Kirk D’Amico (Myriad Pictures) and Mark Stone (Alliance Films) take on executiveproduction roles.

Speaking of the deal, IFC president Jonathan Sehring said, “We’re all very happy to be working with the wonderfully talented Ruba Nadda again on her follow-up to ‘Cairo Time,’ which was a great success for us. She has made a bold and exciting film.”

While IFC distribute the filmin the US, Alliance Films will handle Canadian distribution and Myriad is repping internationally.
