Fans of Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman will be pleased to learn that his reality show ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ has been signed up by country cable channel CMT.

Dog has been absent from our screens following the end of is long standing deal with A&E in May of this year. CMT have commissioned 10 hour long episodes with a planned schedule in Spring 2013. It is believed that the show will have a slightly different format and promises to have a much broader scope. It is as yet unclear whether or not CMT will be using the same title of ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ that has been used in the previous eight seasons. The show will follow Dog and his wife Beth as they assist struggling bail bondsmen and bounty hunters all over America. The Chapmans have been called one of the most bankable teams in television and CMT are eager to make the most of the opportunity.
