No matter how great a story is, how generous is the budget you’ve got or how breaths taking your action scenes are; unless you have a great character your story has a good chance of failing.

Character Is EverythingWhen you are reading a book, watching a play or a movie, what you’re looking for is an escape from your world, and for that we need great characters.

So how do you create such characters? By making  your character someone the audience can relate to.

It doesn’t matter if your character is not human, nor if they are from another planet, nor if they have a life most of your audience couldn’t possibly imagine. Everyone has feelings, encounters problems and obstacles, sets goals and sometimes, they achieve them and possibly grow.

These are things that everyone can relate to. Find them, show them in your character, and you will draw your audience in.
